Emma Zevin, Executive Director
Emma admires ThÃch Quang Duc, a self-immolating monk during the “Vietnam War” whose heart would not burn. She is a sophomore and is all too aware of what the word means. She is also the student coordinator of SLC’s Language Partnerships program. She is from San Francisco. She writes. Her grandfather has had a fetus in a jar in his basement for over thirty years.

Joanna is a junior studying writing at Sarah Lawrence. Currently, she holds the title of Director of Development and Outreach on the Midnight Cabaret Board of Directors, and works as an assistant to the Director of Parent Giving. She hopes to pursue a career in nonprofit management, with a focus in development for arts organizations, after graduation.

Helen Goodman is a sophomore. She was raised in Boston and recently re-located to South Orange, NJ. Helen studies nonfiction writing and social sciences. She edits the Comment section of SadieLou.net.

Joanna Bettelheim, Archives Organizer
Joanna is a senior in her second year with The Sadie Lou Project. Concentrating in writing and women’s studies at Sarah Lawrence, she hopes to find a career in publishing/communications combining her pop culture interests and technical skills. Last Spring she spent a semester abroad with NYU in Prague, and was web editor for the online publication, Prague Wanderer. On campus this year, she is also involved in the SLC Stitch ‘n Bitch chapter.
