F.A.Q.s

Q. Are you the Sadie Lou Standard?
A. No. They have their own website.

Q. Then why do you have the same name?
A. Well, technically, we don’t. We’re just plain old “Sadie Lou.” (Little tidbit: the school paper was called The Sadie Lou from 1991-92.)

Q. Can I just call you SadieLou.net?
A. If it makes you feel better, go right ahead. However, we officially changed our name from SadieLou.net to Sadie Lou in May of 2006.

Q. Will you make my club its own website with an animated introduction and some cool image rollover links?
A. No. Not anymore, at least. We would love to put some general information about your club up in our Clubs section, though. We also publish club announcements on our blog. We used to try to make new sites for different clubs and publications, but too much work was involved for little gain. If your club is really enthusiastic about having its own club website, Raptor has been hosting club web pages for almost a decade and is always happy to have new users.

Q. Will you help put my print publication online?
A. No. Same story as above. We do want to see more student work available online, so we accept work which has previously been published elsewhere in print, as long as it meets our own submission guidelines. We will even extend the courtesy of crediting the original print publication.
